I graduated bachelor's in Biology in 2019. I'm planning to apply 2024 cycle or 2025. I've noticed some school say my pre requisite courses will "expire" after 5 years from taking them. Should I do Post bacc program or still try applying next year? Will it be worth applying without doing Post bacc?
Also, there are two different post bacc programs; prerequisites courses post bacc programs and Dental related post bacc program.
If possible I want to do dental related post bacc because I don't want to spend so much money on prerequisites that I have already taken back in my college years.
What do you think?
Hi! Only some schools have 5 year expirations on pre-reqs, such as Loma Linda's Dental School. Some dental schools have 10 years and others don't have any expirations. I'd suggest you first look at the schools you're interested in, and if your mind is set on a school that has the 5-year expiration, then I'd suggest you do a post bacc that has the classes which would expire at the time you apply.
